Director of Liquidity, Market and Investment Fund Risk

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Liquidity, Market, and Investment Fund Risk Directorate in Mexico.
• Implement models, methodologies, and corporate policies regarding liquidity risk, interest rates, and investment funds.
• Supervise the creation of analytical models for balance sheet flows and customer behavior to optimize liquidity and monitor interest rate exposure.
• Establish and monitor risk limits aligned with the institution's risk appetite.
• Coordinate periodic liquidity contingency plan testing and annual updates to solvency and liquidity contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance with Basel III standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage discretionary risks for investment funds and monitor market, credit, and liquidity risk limits.
• Oversee the technical evaluation and calibration of liquidity, interest rate, and fund models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in Risk Management.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Mandatory AMIB and MEXDER certifications (Investment Fund Risk Administrator and Mexder Risk Administrator).
• Solid knowledge of financial products, including derivatives, investments, and Asset & Liability Management (ALM).
• Deep understanding of international and local regulations regarding liquidity risk, interest rates, and investment funds.

• Master's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
