Director of Jewish Student Life

Responsibilities

• Develop one-on-one relationships with Jewish students through creative engagement methods
• Create and implement engagement strategies for traditional and contemporary students
• Run a student engagement internship program, including recruitment and supervision
• Manage database management software and data tracking efforts
• Mentor student leadership teams and serve as staff lead for affiliated student organizations
• Partner with leadership on holiday and Shabbat programming
• Lead recruitment and staffing for immersive Israel trips
• Oversee social media, newsletters, and website branding
• Coordinate program logistics, including vendors and venues
• Prepare and write grants for specific initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-4 years of full-time professional work experience
• Experience with the 18-24 demographic or higher education is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to pluralism and Jewish identity
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or youth development
• Experience with relationship-based engagement methodologies
