About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the vision and strategy for Jewish learning and educational engagement across all campuses
- Build and sustain a portfolio of meaningful student relationships through one-on-one engagement and mentoring
- Create innovative educational experiences exploring Jewish identity, values, and tradition
- Lead Jewish learning initiatives including fellowships, cohorts, and Shabbat Hosting Lab
- Design and oversee high-quality educational programs including holidays and leadership opportunities
- Supervise designated staff members and student leaders, including goal setting and coaching
- Establish annual engagement goals and evaluate outcomes through data collection and assessment
- Utilize marketing and social media strategies to reach target audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies, Jewish education, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in community organizing, Hillel, youth movements, camping, or experiential Jewish education
- Deep knowledge of Jewish tradition, culture, history, and contemporary Jewish life
- Proven success in community building and outreach
- Ability to facilitate thoughtful conversations about Judaism, Israel, and identity
- Commitment to pluralism and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
