Director of IT Security

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise security program across governance, risk, compliance, security operations, and incident response
• Develop and execute the enterprise IT security strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and regulatory obligations
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response coordination
• Establish and maintain security policies and standards aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
• Manage third-party security risk, vendor due diligence, and security control reviews
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team while managing the IT security budget
• Provide executive-level reporting on security posture, key risks, and program maturity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security or IT risk management
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing security teams or programs
• Deep knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
• Extensive experience in cloud and network security, identity and access management, and vulnerability management
• Strong ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
