Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for compensation, benefits, recruitment, and employee relations programs.
• Lead the development and implementation of new HR policies, services, and programs to meet campus needs.
• Oversee recruitment efforts, talent management, and the performance management process.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance with federal and state labor laws, including Title IX, EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
• Manage payroll processes, insurance administration, retirement programs, and workers' compensation.
• Direct onboarding, training, and professional development programs for employees and departments.
• Maintain the staff handbook, job descriptions, and human resources information systems.
• Serve as a Title IX representative and institutional investigator for policy violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least seven years of human resource management experience.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
