Director of Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee core HR functions including benefits administration, compensation strategy, HR systems, and regulatory compliance
• Manage relationships with external vendors and brokers, and oversee the administration and auditing of retirement plans
• Lead salary review and market analysis processes to ensure competitive compensation
• Maintain HR policies in alignment with legal requirements and ensure consistent application across the organization
• Manage the HCM platform to ensure data accuracy and generate reports on key metrics such as turnover and headcount
• Supervise and mentor HR staff while partnering with the VP of HR on staffing strategies and employee relations
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations and the employee experience

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Expertise in benefits, compensation, HR systems, and employment law
• Proficiency in Paylocity or similar HR technology
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Must be a practicing Catholic committed to integrating faith-based values into leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR
• Experience working in a nonprofit environment
