About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HCM business partner to senior leadership in the EMEA region, providing proactive and commercially focused advice.
  • Partner with strategy and functional heads on organizational design, workforce planning, and regional people strategy.
  • Leverage people analytics to identify trends, quantify risks, and present actionable insights to influence decision-making.
  • Drive engagement programs to elevate employee experience and company culture.
  • Oversee regional benefits, payroll activities, and compensation frameworks, including salary, bonus, and deferred compensation.
  • Manage key HR activities such as performance improvement plans, talent management, succession planning, and headcount reporting.
  • Advise on complex employee relations matters, navigating UK employment law and UAE Labor Law.
  • Collaborate with Legal on employment contracts, restrictive covenants, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal employee mobility, including international transfers, visas, and tax matters.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of HCM or HR experience, with significant tenure in financial services (hedge fund, asset management, or investment banking preferred).
  • Deep regional expertise in EMEA employment practices, including strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and UAE Labor Law.
  • Proven experience leading an HCM function or team within a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate credibly alongside senior investment and business partners.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-focused mindset for utilizing HR reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, and complex organizational structure.
