Director of Housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the administrative and fiscal operations of housekeeping services to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure university compliance.
• Maintain budgetary control, including recommending and approving the purchase of equipment and supplies.
• Participate in daily problem-solving to ensure effective task accomplishment within assigned areas.
• Review and implement programs aimed at improving productivity and quality of work life.
• Provide direct or indirect supervision to staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Serve as a liaison on housekeeping-related issues and participate in various internal and external committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Nine (9) years of experience in housekeeping or maintenance administration.
• Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role.
