Director of Housekeeping

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housekeeping, Spa, and Retail Boutique Departments
• Manage staff training, performance, procedures, and productivity
• Create and manage annual operating budgets
• Conduct monthly staff meetings to discuss operational challenges and projects
• Prepare annual recommendations for capital improvements with ROI analysis
• Perform monthly financial analysis and review budget variances with leadership
• Maintain weekly deep cleaning schedules for guest rooms and public areas
• Resolve guest complaints to meet Forbes Five Star standards
• Supervise laundry operations and hotel-wide uniform programs
• Manage product inventory and replenishment orders
• Supervise a team of approximately 84 employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Profit Sword financial program
• Strong financial acumen and multi-departmental budgeting experience
• Experience with Hotel Effectiveness labor management program
• Experience with Smart Recruiters applicant tracking system
• Experience working at a Forbes Five Star resort or restaurant
• Experience in large scale inventory management and contract negotiation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury hospitality environments
• Proven track record in high-level departmental leadership
