Director of Hotel Finance, Americas

Responsibilities

• Support the VP of Hotel Finance, Americas in overseeing financial performance across the Americas hotel portfolio
• Partner with Directors of Finance, Controllers, and General Managers to drive financial accountability
• Review and analyze hotel financial results, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs
• Drive profitability, labor productivity, cash flow optimization, and operational efficiency
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and long-range financial planning
• Participate in ownership meetings and strategic planning discussions
• Provide guidance and oversight to hotel finance teams to ensure alignment with company standards
• Monitor compliance with GAAP, management agreements, and franchise requirements
• Mentor and develop finance leadership talent throughout the portfolio
• Lead process improvement and financial systems enhancement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hotel openings, transitions, and acquisitions
• Establish and maintain financial controls to mitigate risk

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive hospitality finance experience
• 3+ years of multi-property hotel finance leadership experience
• Experience within a hotel management company environment
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the Americas region
• Advanced proficiency in hotel financial systems and business intelligence platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in luxury or lifestyle hotel brands
• Experience supporting hotel openings, transitions, acquisitions, and takeovers
• Experience working with branded and independent hotels across luxury and full-service segments
