Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team including mechanical, electronics, and opto-mechanical engineers
• Establish best-in-class hardware development processes, technical standards, and quality benchmarks
• Ensure alignment with medical device regulatory requirements including FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601
• Drive the transition of translational research outputs into commercial, regulated medical device products
• Partner with Systems Architects and Programme Management to ensure effective cross-functional delivery
• Provide strategic and tactical planning for engineering resources to meet business goals

Requirements

• Substantial experience in new product development within a regulated medical device environment
• At least 5 years in a leadership role within a complex, multidisciplinary product development environment
• Proven track record delivering complex medical devices with optoelectronic and real-time embedded systems
• Deep understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 regulatory standards
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Technical expertise in high-speed mixed-signal electronics, embedded RTOS, and CAD modelling
