Director of Geomatics

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of the Geomatics (Surveying and SUE) practice in Florida by leveraging market insight and client relationships
• Create and execute the Orlando metro Geomatics Service Line strategy in alignment with firm-wide goals
• Drive business development activities including client positioning, proposal development, and contract negotiations
• Develop and negotiate scopes, fees, schedules, and contracts to ensure profitability and risk management
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Geomatics, advising project teams and senior leadership
• Ensure high-quality, efficient delivery of surveying services through optimized operational processes and QA/QC programs
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Geomatics team through hiring and performance management
• Foster cross-selling and integration of Geomatics services with other service lines
• Strengthen and manage key client relationships to drive repeat business
• Represent and promote the McAdams brand through industry leadership and professional organizations
• Monitor market trends, regulatory considerations, and economic conditions to adjust strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics or related field preferred
• Must possess PLS or PSM license in Florida
• Minimum of 15 years’ total work experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience as a Project Manager
• Experience working within a multi-discipline engineering firm
• Proficiency in project and resource management, mentoring, and training
• Ability to generate new work through strong industry relationships
• Technical ability to lead and advise geomatics project teams
