About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement a comprehensive strength, conditioning, and sports performance program for the football team and other assigned varsity sports.
- Create and maintain a safe, encouraging workout environment for all student-athletes.
- Instruct, monitor, and evaluate speed, agility, and strength programs throughout the year.
- Collaborate with the Sports Medicine department to manage pre- and post-rehabilitation programs.
- Communicate frequently with head coaches to facilitate effective program scheduling.
- Assist with year-round nutritional programs, on-campus recruiting visits, and occasional travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Previous professional experience in Sports Performance or Strength and Conditioning.
- A strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to integrating faith and learning.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality and work collaboratively within a mission-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge equivalent to a master's degree in a relevant field.
- Working knowledge of NCAA policies and collegiate athletic programs.
