Director of Food Services (Corrections)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations for the Department of Corrections
• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Corrections Food Services Department
• Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and county standards, policies, and regulations
• Provide high-quality food service to the Department of Corrections facility
• Maintain compliance with standards set by the American Correctional Association and other governing bodies

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a recognized college or university with an emphasis in culinary arts
• Five years of quantity food service administration experience
• Three years of supervisory experience in correctional foodservice or large quantity cookery
• Valid ServSafe Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Manager’s Certification
• Association of Correctional Food Service Affiliate (ACFSA) Professional Certification(s)
