About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual Food & Beverage strategy aligned with hotel business objectives and brand standards
- Lead all F&B operations including restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, banqueting, and catering
- Ensure operational readiness during peak religious seasons such as Ramadan, Hajj, and Umrah
- Drive revenue growth through commercial initiatives, menu engineering, and strategic partnerships
- Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
- Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to optimize profitability
- Partner with the Executive Chef to develop innovative culinary offerings and signature dining concepts
- Maintain compliance with Sofitel brand standards, LQA standards, and HACCP hygiene regulations
- Oversee procurement processes and effective inventory management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels
- Proven experience managing complex operations with multiple outlets and large-scale banqueting
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Comprehensive knowledge of luxury service standards and culinary trends
- Experience working within an international luxury hospitality brand
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
