Director of Food & Beverage

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual Food & Beverage strategy aligned with hotel business objectives and brand standards
• Lead all F&B operations including restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, banqueting, and catering
• Ensure operational readiness during peak religious seasons such as Ramadan, Hajj, and Umrah
• Drive revenue growth through commercial initiatives, menu engineering, and strategic partnerships
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans
• Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs to optimize profitability
• Partner with the Executive Chef to develop innovative culinary offerings and signature dining concepts
• Maintain compliance with Sofitel brand standards, LQA standards, and HACCP hygiene regulations
• Oversee procurement processes and effective inventory management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive Food & Beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels
• Proven experience managing complex operations with multiple outlets and large-scale banqueting
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Comprehensive knowledge of luxury service standards and culinary trends
• Experience working within an international luxury hospitality brand
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
