Director of Financial Data & Reporting

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement financial reporting processes from the ground up to establish standards for accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring they are complete and audit-ready.
• Work directly with auditors and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
• Drive automation of manual reporting workflows by deploying AI-powered tools and agentic workflows.
• Build finance-focused executive dashboards to provide senior leaders with visibility for confident decision-making.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in financial data analysis, reporting, and accounting, ideally in high-growth tech or startup environments.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in financial modeling and the ability to build complex models from scratch.
• Proven track record of preparing financial statements and owning the end-to-end close process.
• Experience working with external auditors and building supporting internal controls.
• A genuine command of AI and automation tools with a vision for building an AI-native finance function.
• Ability to partner at the leadership level and translate financial complexity into actionable insights.
