Director of Finance

Responsibilities

• Ensure strong financial management within a robust control environment
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for accurate accounting records and statutory accounts
• Manage finance relationships with operations and head office
• Lead all elements related to balance sheets, P&L, cash management, and capital
• Provide innovative management reporting, analysis, and performance measurement
• Lead the planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Support the General Manager in strategic planning and value opportunities
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-quality finance team

Requirements

• 5+ years of hotel finance experience
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Director of Finance role
• Strong knowledge of German financial and legal operating requirements
• Technical skill in compliance, hotel operations, and standard finance systems
• Ability to balance methodical processes with creative problem-solving
• Qualified accountant status is an advantage
