Director of Finance

Responsibilities

• Set up the Finance department for the hotel and residences in compliance with company policies and local regulations
• Oversee daily operations of the Finance department and direct financial planning and budget management
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prepare financial forecasts
• Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies
• Prepare annual reports of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
• Recruit, interview, and develop the finance team, conducting regular performance reviews
• Collaborate with the Talent & Culture function to ensure appropriate training and development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulation standards
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant financial reporting systems
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and oral)
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and business acumen skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
