Director of Finance

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and payroll support
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Manage the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting for hotel operations and ownership
• Maintain ProfitSword infrastructure, including user administration and data integrity
• Forecast working capital and cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity
• Manage the recurring capital process, including tracking costs against approved budgets and setting up fixed assets
• Maintain a clean balance sheet through monthly reconciliations and accurate inventory documentation
• Act as a liaison with corporate accounting regarding treasury, banking, tax preparation, and annual audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience leading a hotel finance and accounting division
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of hotel property management software and point of sale systems
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and capital project accounting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
