About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), debt management, and treasury.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, capital planning, and forecasting.
  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, and grant/program accounting.
  • Perform financial modeling for acquisition opportunities, new business development, and capital expenditure evaluation.
  • Manage relationships with banks, including preparing compliance certificates and regular reporting.
  • Implement and document internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the Accounting and Finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Strategy (relevant work experience may substitute for degree).
  • 10 years of progressive professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and general accounting.
  • Proven experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and post-acquisition integration.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and strategic business planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional projects and diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial ideas to senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other graduate degree.
