Director of Facilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations for designated buildings and assets, including managing the automotive fleet.
• Coordinate and assign repair calls and work orders across various locations in Arizona.
• Supervise facilities maintenance employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Participate in expansion planning and oversee construction-related activities and vendor management.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building permits, and safety standards (HQS, NSPIRE, etc.).
• Maintain security systems, including lock identification, key files, and access codes.
• Respond to emergencies, including fires, disasters, and hazardous material situations.
• Manage vendor selection and negotiations to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities management.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Valid Arizona driver's license (must be 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience).
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, and background check.
• Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) within 7 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Experience managing major construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant training certification.
