About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee facility operations for designated buildings and assets, including managing the automotive fleet.
- Coordinate and assign repair calls and work orders across various locations in Arizona.
- Supervise facilities maintenance employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Participate in expansion planning and oversee construction-related activities and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building permits, and safety standards (HQS, NSPIRE, etc.).
- Maintain security systems, including lock identification, key files, and access codes.
- Respond to emergencies, including fires, disasters, and hazardous material situations.
- Manage vendor selection and negotiations to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities management.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Valid Arizona driver's license (must be 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience).
- Proficiency with computer applications.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, TB test, and background check.
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) within 7 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Experience managing major construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant training certification.
