Director of Facilities & Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall facilities strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Manage and mentor a team of facilities professionals, ensuring high performance and development
• Develop and manage facilities CapEx and OpEx budgets
• Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality and compliance
• Ensure all building systems and production equipment are properly maintained through proactive preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and building codes
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability programs
• Oversee facility-related projects including relocations, renovations, and capital improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years in facilities management
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong budgeting and cost-control expertise
• Extensive knowledge of facilities systems and operations
• Effective communication and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Facilities Management or Business Administration
• CFM or similar certifications
• LEED and OSHA certifications
