Director of Facilities and Operational Services

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and lead strategic operations for food services, facilities, technology, and vendor management across the network
• Manage large-scale operational budgets and implement region-wide systems, procedures, and standards
• Oversee food service operations, ensuring compliance with state-authorized School Food Authority standards
• Lead facilities management, including preventative maintenance, capital improvement projects, and construction oversight
• Drive vendor procurement processes, contract negotiations, and performance management for janitorial, technology, and other essential services
• Partner with the CFO to manage insurance, risk management, and safety systems across all campuses
• Oversee regional technology infrastructure, device management, and lifecycle planning

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in people and/or project management
• Proven experience in school or business operations (e.g., vendor management, procurement, or project management)
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail and organizational excellence
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build strong professional relationships
• Bachelor's degree required
