Director of Equity and Culture

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and management of internal processes to ensure equity through transparency and consistency
• Develop and execute the organization’s Wellness Plan and Learning and Development strategy
• Implement bi-annual culture and climate surveys, including data collection and analysis
• Manage and mentor the Equity & Culture Manager, Associate, and ECT Associate
• Facilitate leadership trainings and professional development workshops
• Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including the annual all-staff retreat
• Collaborate with the VP of Equity, Culture, and Talent to assess and measure organizational health

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with increasing responsibility
• Experience implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis for surveys
• Strong management, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
• Excellent project management and event planning skills
• High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution abilities
• Knowledge of learning and development systems (e.g., ACORN)
• Demonstrated commitment to reproductive freedom and organizational mission

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in non-profit or reproductive rights sectors
• Experience working within an organized workforce
• Strong visual presentation skills
• Proficiency with digital design tools like Canva
