Director of Enrollment

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative strategies to optimize enrollment operations and regulatory compliance
• Lead and manage enrollment systems, processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Ensure adherence to all Federal and State regulations, including Head Start requirements
• Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting (801a, 801b, PLIS, and CAPSDAC) and agency grant reporting
• Coordinate preparation for Contract Monitoring Reviews, internal audits, and external audits
• Act as the organization’s Appeals Hearing Officer for enrollment and program-related appeals
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate a high-performing enrollment team
• Build and maintain partnerships with school districts and community organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years in a supervisory or director-level role
• Background in nonprofit administration or early childhood education programs
• Proven experience in administrative services, compliance, or enrollment management
• Experience with enrollment and attendance management systems/databases
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs if needed
