About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the technology strategy and roadmap for Ongoing Monitoring, including Fraud, Financial Risk, AML, and AI workflows.
  • Build autonomous, multi-agent workflows to automate alert investigations and risk determinations.
  • Develop detection systems to identify adversarial agentic behavior, such as bot swarms and deepfake-powered KYC bypasses.
  • Ensure all AI systems are auditable, explainable, and compliant with global AML directives and data privacy standards.
  • Lead and grow multiple engineering squads, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Partner with Product, Data, AI, Risk, and Ops leaders to improve predictive ML modeling and agentic AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years in leadership roles (Director or Senior Director level).
  • Deep expertise in Machine Learning, including supervised/unsupervised models, neural networks, and LLMs.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen).
  • Strong fintech domain knowledge regarding fraud vectors (mule accounts, account takeovers) and AML typologies.
  • Proven track record in Adversarial AI security, specifically detecting deepfakes and prompt injection attacks.
  • Experience building and deploying production-grade, risk-scoring environments at scale.
  • Solid technical foundations in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems (AWS or GCP).
