Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical partner to Product, UX, and Sales teams
• Lead, recruit, and retain a top-tier team in Amman, transitioning to a tiered leadership model
• Lead the strategic evolution of the tech stack and migrate legacy components to modern architectures
• Drive AI adoption across the software development lifecycle
• Provide architectural oversight across PHP, Python, and React environments
• Ensure high-confidence, continuous deployments and AWS infrastructure reliability
• Drive seamless collaboration with US-based leadership through scheduled timezone overlap

Requirements

• Professional-level fluency in both Arabic and English
• Proven track record of modernizing legacy codebases in live production environments
• Significant experience in full-stack development (PHP, Python, React), AWS, and automated testing
• Experience managing engineering teams of 15+ people
• Ability to maintain a consistent 4-hour daily overlap (Mon–Thu) with US East Coast business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS, or B2G
• Experience shipping AI features and experiences to customers
• Deep roots in the Amman tech ecosystem and local talent networks
