Director of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage site plan development, technical due diligence, and preliminary site planning
• Develop and issue construction documentation for bidding
• Obtain licensure to sign and seal construction documents in applicable markets
• Oversee technical design staff and manage drawing packages
• Implement scalable processes for kiosk deployment in the Right-of-Way (ROW)
• Create permitting strategies for simultaneous multi-site submittals
• Provide guidance on utility coordination, commercial power design, and meter installations
• Partner with legal, construction, and operations teams to align deployment strategies
• Mitigate risks related to permitting delays and utility interconnection
• Build relationships with permitting authorities and municipal stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in program strategy, permitting, or utility coordination
• Experience in ROW or infrastructure deployment (telecom, EV charging, OOH)
• Proven success scaling permitting strategies across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
• Expertise in utility coordination and power delivery for distributed assets
• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks
