Director of Engineering - Digital

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for the digital campaign management platform
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to foster innovation and technical excellence
• Architect and oversee the development of AI-driven features for digital channels
• Ensure scalability, security, and 99.99% uptime in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists on campaign optimization
• Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies
• Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership
• Proven track record building and scaling AI-powered SaaS products
• Expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices
• Strong experience with AI/ML, NLP, and predictive analytics
• Proficiency in Java and modern front-end frameworks like React
• Experience with social media and messaging APIs (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.)
• Understanding of data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing or customer engagement domains
• Familiarity with A/B testing, personalization, and analytics-driven development
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
