Director of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for member-facing platforms, including membership, identity proofing, and biometrics
• Lead and develop a team of Engineering Managers and senior ICs
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Engineering leadership
• Own vendor strategy and integrations across CRM to ensure cost efficiency and scalability
• Establish and uphold engineering standards for system design, reliability, and observability

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience leading and scaling engineering organizations
• Experience managing managers and teams of 20+ engineers
• Proven track record driving large-scale platform initiatives like system re-architecture or vendor migrations
• Strong technical judgment and organizational leadership skills
• Ability to deliver measurable outcomes in fast-paced, complex environments
