Director of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring the highest levels of quality and guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and safety standards
• Manage the annual budget and capital expenditure plans for the engineering and maintenance department
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of the resort's infrastructure and equipment
• Manage all vendor contracts and relationships to ensure the highest standards of service
• Ensure that all guest requests and issues related to engineering and maintenance are resolved quickly and efficiently

Requirements

• Indonesian Citizenship required
• Minimum 5 years of solid engineering experience in the hospitality industry
• Previous experience as Director of Engineering in a large-scale luxury resort (500+ rooms/villas)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills
• Ability to analyze financial data, budgeting, and cost calculation
• Knowledge of project construction is an advantage
