Director of Engineering Artificial Intelligence Foundry

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and engineering of enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions and frameworks for Evergreen.AI.
• Build and lead high-performing global engineering teams, establishing career frameworks and mentorship programs.
• Define agentic AI architecture, including multi-agent orchestration, LLM knowledge management, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Drive production readiness by implementing runbooks, observability, SLAs, and resiliency patterns for multi-region deployments.
• Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, model training, serving, and production-grade MLOps practices.
• Partner with Product and Architecture to align technical roadmaps with business outcomes and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Implement secure SDLC, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices ensuring adherence to SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise AI adoption, engaging directly with executive stakeholders and supporting technical pre-sales.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years of experience leading multi-team engineering organizations.
• Expertise in agentic AI/ML systems and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
• Proven experience in technical architecture and global delivery leadership for Fortune 1000 clients.
• Strong knowledge of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus) and retrieval pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures (Kafka/Event Hub).
• Proficiency with Python and ML frameworks, including LLMOps/MLOps platforms like MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science.
