About the role
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and evaluate Hillel's overall vision and strategy for engaging Jewish students on campus
- Manage and analyze HEaRT (Hillel Engagement and Relationship Tracking) data to guide organizational priorities
- Serve as the primary staff lead for Schmooze, Hillel's pre-orientation program
- Oversee FYSH (First-Year Students of Hillel) and related peer ambassador initiatives
- Manage Birthright Israel recruitment, logistics, and itinerary development
- Lead Hillel's Alternative Break program, including curriculum and recruitment
- Supervise the Engagement Associate and student Engagement Interns
- Serve as an experiential Jewish educator through one-on-one relationships and programming
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional work experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in supervision preferred
- Strong communication skills across text, email, phone, and in-person
- Commitment to using data to inform strategy
- Ability to hold space for diverse perspectives and a pluralistic mindset
Benefits
- Salary range of $55,000-$65,000
- 22 days of PTO, 11 sick days, 8 federal holidays, and up to 13 paid Jewish holidays
