Director of Editorial Content

Responsibilities

• Own Suno’s long-form editorial vision and strategy across video, audio, blog, newsletter, and artist storytelling
• Build and lead the editorial content team, including creators, video directors, and managing editors
• Establish Suno’s editorial voice, style guide, and publishing standards
• Shape and execute an editorial calendar balancing tentpole features, artist stories, and product narratives
• Partner with Brand, Social, PR, and Product Marketing to turn editorial into a connective tissue for campaigns
• Define and track editorial metrics such as readership, engagement, and brand lift

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of editorial experience at a respected publication, platform, or brand
• Proven track record of building and leading editorial teams
• Deep understanding of music, artist culture, and creative communities
• Exceptional writing, editing, and editorial judgment skills
• Experience working closely with brand, marketing, social, and PR teams
• Fluency with modern editorial stacks including CMS, analytics, SEO, and newsletter platforms
• Ability to work in person from the Los Angeles office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with branded entertainment and video content
• Knowledge of how AI changes the editorial workflow
• A builder’s mindset for shaping functions from the ground up
