Director of Editorial Content

Responsibilities

• Own Suno’s long-form editorial vision and strategy across video, audio, blog, newsletter, and artist storytelling.
• Build and lead the editorial content team, including hiring creators, video directors, and managing editors.
• Establish and evolve Suno’s editorial voice, style guide, and publishing standards.
• Shape and execute an editorial calendar that balances tentpole features, artist stories, and product narratives.
• Partner with Brand, Social, PR, and Artist Relations to turn editorial into a strategic lever for the brand.
• Define and track key metrics such as readership, engagement, and brand lift to sharpen strategy.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of editorial experience at a respected publication, platform, or brand.
• Proven track record of building and leading editorial teams and shaping content identity.
• Deep understanding of music, artist culture, and creative communities.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong sense of voice and structure.
• Proficiency with the modern editorial stack, including CMS, SEO, and analytics.
• Experience understanding how AI impacts and changes editorial workflows.
• Ability to work on-site from our Los Angeles office.
