Director of Dining Services/Executive Chef

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic vision for dining services
• Design innovative menus reflecting culinary trends and nutritional standards
• Manage dining operations budget including food costs and labor expenses
• Supervise, train, and mentor culinary and dining staff
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP protocols
• Maintain quality control standards for food preparation and presentation
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with food vendors
• Analyze operational metrics to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Collaborate with teams to execute special events and catering

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of progressive culinary experience
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience in food service
• Expertise in menu development and food cost analysis
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Ability to manage budgets and control operational expenses
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification or equivalent
• Experience with inventory management systems
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
