Director of Digital Transformation

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive digital and AI transformation strategy and roadmap aligned with the university's mission and strategic plan
• Drive institution-wide initiatives leveraging emerging technologies, automation, and AI to improve agility and service delivery
• Establish a framework for digital innovation, shared learning, and operational excellence across academic and administrative areas
• Oversee the operational activities of the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure transformation projects are prioritized and executed effectively
• Define and track success metrics to measure adoption, performance, and ROI for digital and AI initiatives
• Champion organizational change by building digital literacy and fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Partner with senior leadership to ensure technology investments deliver measurable results and advance institutional outcomes
• Lead business process improvement and optimization initiatives to streamline workflows across departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading digital strategy, transformation, or enterprise change initiatives
• Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience, including management of complex institutional initiatives
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficiency in modern project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related discipline
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Experience in higher education or working within complex enterprise environments
• Knowledge of ITIL, Prosci Change Management, or PMI-PgMP certifications
• Experience leading AI adoption or automation initiatives
