About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive Director to build and execute annual fundraising plans and moves-management strategies
- Lead short- and long-term development strategies, specifically scaling alumni and parent giving programs
- Manage a portfolio of donors with tailored cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation strategies
- Plan and execute regional donor cultivation events
- Supervise a Development Associate and undergraduate interns
- Research, prepare, and submit grant proposals
- Oversee donor database management and gift processing
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in a development role
- Proven success in donor cultivation, solicitation, and campaign management
- Proficiency with donor management software and CRM systems
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff or volunteers
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong project management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jewish communal organizations, Hillel, or higher education environments
- Familiarity with the Jewish calendar and the North Carolina Jewish community
