Director of Data Science & AI

Responsibilities

• Lead machine learning initiatives focused on recommendation systems and marketing technology (Martech) to drive user discovery and top-of-funnel growth.
• Architect state-of-the-art recommendation models, including deep learning architectures like Two-Tower models and Transformers.
• Drive AI strategy for growth marketing using Media Mix Modeling (MMM), automated bidding, and predictive LTV models.
• Establish frameworks for causal inference to measure the true incrementality of marketing spend and recommendation features.
• Oversee scalable MLOps for high-throughput data pipelines and real-time model deployment.
• Lead the strategic adoption of agentic AI frameworks to automate complex acquisition workflows.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Product Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing data science and AI teams.
• Deep technical proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Expertise in deploying large-scale AI solutions within cloud environments (GCP/AWS).
• Experience with data orchestration tools like PySpark and Airflow.
• Strong ability to translate complex algorithmic trade-offs into business implications for senior leadership.
