Director of Cost Management

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Cost Managers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
• Oversee client communications and manage the strategic and operational aspects of Cost Management Services.
• Drive business growth through market research, thought leadership, and proactive business development.
• Manage financial performance, including revenue tracking, margin levels, and resource requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and ensure compliance with quality standards and ISO audits.
• Develop priority plans, risk mitigation strategies, and performance measurements via KPIs.
• Support talent acquisition and mentorship to build a high-performing, inclusive team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
• 2+ years of experience managing high-performing cost management teams within a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of successful service delivery for major construction clients.
• Strong business development acumen and the ability to create a pipeline of new opportunities.
• Extensive experience in major construction sectors such as commercial real estate, data centers, or industrial manufacturing.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering.
