About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of strategic partnership models that integrate philanthropic giving with corporate engagement, including internships, research, and talent pipelines.
  • Manage a large portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, serving as the primary university contact for fundraising opportunities.
  • Develop multi-year pipeline strategies to grow revenue, diversify funding sources, and align with the Vision 2030 strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership, deans, and the Amica Career Center to translate institutional priorities into compelling funding proposals.
  • Plan and host high-visibility corporate and foundation events to drive engagement and sponsorship.
  • Ensure accurate CRM documentation, proposal tracking, and compliance with donor restrictions and grant requirements.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate and foundation fundraising, sponsorship development, or related advancement roles.
  • Proven success in preparing proposals and securing significant gifts, grants, and complex partnerships.
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in higher education and familiarity with grant compliance and campaign planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal partners to develop experiential learning or corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to drive results in a data-driven, CRM-enabled environment.
