Director of Convertible Sales

Responsibilities

• Identify and execute complex and large scope fixed income and equity linked sales
• Target key investors and promote the firm's value proposition
• Establish and manage strong relationships with key equity linked investors
• Proactively convey research expertise, products, and investment opportunities to clients
• Maintain internal partnerships and develop leads sourced by others
• Guide sales meeting preparation and lead high impact sales meetings
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff
• Ensure all transactions align with firm policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Minimum 5 years of institutional bond sales experience from a top brokerage firm
• In-depth knowledge of the bond markets
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent marketing, business development, and selling skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA from a top business school
• SIE Exam, Series 7, and Series 63 (must be acquired within 90 days of employment)
