Director of Commercial Finance

Responsibilities

• Own the overall financial performance of the region, sharing accountability with regional leaders and RFD
• Deliver regional budgets and forecasts to RFD, regional leadership, and Group Finance
• Guide regional decision making through high quality analysis, forecasts, and scenario modelling
• Advise on commercial bidding processes, pricing, and scoring optimisation
• Oversee financial integrity of major contracts and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Identify and drive financial improvement initiatives targeting efficiency, profitability, and cash flow
• Support the financial control team in monthly variance analysis and SOX control adherence
• Manage direct reports and collaborate across the Europe Finance team

Requirements

• Strong strategic finance and business partnering skills
• Proven experience influencing business executives
• Strong commercial acumen and decision-making capabilities
• Technical accounting knowledge in revenue recognition and contract accounting
• Ability to manage a diverse portfolio of contracts
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Substantial understanding of multi-currency environments and accounting principles
