Director of Cocurricular Music

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic initiative to expand cocurricular music programming and create a vision for the University's music offerings.
• Oversee all aspects of operating two cocurricular choirs, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance programming.
• Recruit qualified students to the cocurricular music programs and collaborate with admissions to increase participation.
• Establish artistic direction to ensure a vibrant music atmosphere and meaningful student experiences.
• Collaborate with the Center for Spirituality and Social Justice, the Director of Music and Liturgy, and University Events for joint performances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Choral Conducting or Music Education.
• At least one year of experience conducting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Choral Conducting or Music Education.
• Extensive conducting experience.
