About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a strategic initiative to expand cocurricular music programming and create a vision for the University's music offerings.
- Oversee all aspects of operating two cocurricular choirs, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance programming.
- Recruit qualified students to the cocurricular music programs and collaborate with admissions to increase participation.
- Establish artistic direction to ensure a vibrant music atmosphere and meaningful student experiences.
- Collaborate with the Center for Spirituality and Social Justice, the Director of Music and Liturgy, and University Events for joint performances.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Choral Conducting or Music Education.
- At least one year of experience conducting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Choral Conducting or Music Education.
- Extensive conducting experience.
