Director of Cloud and DevOps

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud and DevOps strategies aligned with organizational goals, security requirements, and business growth.
• Provide strategic direction for cloud platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and DevOps tooling.
• Oversee the daily operations of cloud platforms to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and developer enablement tooling.
• Lead operational security practices by embedding DevSecOps controls and secure-by-default patterns.
• Manage the cloud platform and DevOps budget, including vendor management and FinOps practices.
• Mentor and develop high-performing teams of cloud, platform, and site reliability engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience specifically with AWS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization, and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proven track record of leading digital transformation in complex, large-scale environments.
• Experience managing managed service providers and strategic engineering partners.
