Director of Clinical Services - Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership across rehabilitation services to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care
• Lead and develop nursing and multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce
• Drive clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management frameworks
• Deliver on key KPIs across patient outcomes, safety, workforce, finance, and service performance
• Optimise patient flow, access, and length of stay outcomes
• Partner with VMOs and executive stakeholders to enhance service delivery and growth
• Lead business development initiatives, including new programs and service expansion
• Oversee workforce planning, education, and professional development strategy

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Postgraduate qualification in leadership, management, or a related discipline
• Extensive senior healthcare leadership experience, ideally in rehabilitation or acute care
• Proven expertise in clinical governance, quality, and risk management
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive service growth and innovation
• Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams in complex environments
