About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel
  • Guide and counsel coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to improve hospice care delivery
  • Assist in managing clinical teams, patient assessment, care planning, and evaluation
  • Support budget preparation and administration alongside the Executive Director
  • Monitor operational indicators, census changes, and volume to inform staffing and expenses
  • Hire, evaluate, and terminate clinical personnel; conduct annual performance reviews
  • Maintain patient clinical records, statistics, and reports in compliance with laws
  • Ensure adequate inventory of supplies and equipment for patient services
  • Develop and implement orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs
  • Assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, CHAP standards, and licensure requirements
  • Promote hospice referrals and act as Executive Director in their absence

Requirements
