Director of Civil Rights Compliance & Title IX Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Title IX, Title VI, and 504/ADA compliance.
• Manage intake, investigation, hearing, outcome, and support processes.
• Advise senior leadership on matters involving discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and retaliation.
• Promote a campus environment of accountability and education through policy development and training.
• Partner with campus departments including Human Resources, Athletics, and Residence Life on prevention education and sexual wellness initiatives.
• Serve as the Institutional Title IX, Title VI, and 504/ADA Coordinator.
• Manage grievance processes and collaborate on institutional committees within the Student Life Division.

Requirements

• Master's degree in higher education administration, law, public policy, human resources, or a similar field.
• Minimum of four years of experience specifically in Title IX.
• Proven experience leading and managing compliance-related processes.
• Understanding of the unique environment of residential, liberal arts higher education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Experience in educational or prevention-related programming.
• Previous experience working within a residential, liberal arts higher education setting.
