Director of CIAM Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end engineering lifecycle for CIAM platforms, including solution design, web/mobile development, QA/NFT, and release management.
• Develop and modernize core CIAM capabilities such as authentication, authorization, MFA, and risk-based authentication.
• Partner with technology, fraud, and business stakeholders to onboard global business channels onto the CIAM platform.
• Provide governance and design CIAM solutions in partnership with IAM Product and Architecture teams.
• Build and manage a high-performance engineering team by fostering an inclusive environment and implementing effective people strategies.
• Ensure all engineering activities align with the Bank's risk appetite, security goals, and compliance obligations.

Requirements

• Computer Science or Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security leadership roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a CIAM Engineering function within a complex, global organization.
• Proven track record of building and running enterprise-class systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in Java design and development, REST web services, JavaScript, and Unix scripting.
• Deep understanding of Agile and QA methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within the financial services or banking industry.
• Experience managing large-scale deployments across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
