Director of Case Management

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of senior case managers focused on settlements and negotiations
• Drive monthly settlement performance by meeting KPIs related to offers, counteroffers, and closing ratios
• Oversee complex negotiated settlements, including insurance and adjuster negotiations
• Establish and refine strategies regarding claims negotiation, settlement authority, and case valuation
• Ensure accuracy and execution of all settlement agreements and supporting documentation
• Monitor pipeline activity, including case progression and resolution timelines
• Analyze performance data to identify trends in settlement outcomes and negotiation success rates
• Implement quality control standards through audits of negotiation strategies and workflows
• Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, and developing top talent

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in a performance-driven environment
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in personal injury law, specifically focused on settlements and negotiations
• Proven success in claims negotiation, insurance negotiations, and managing settlement authority
• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing settlement agreements
• Excellent communication and advanced negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Highly organized with strong prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Litify case management systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
